Well, what can I say about this. It is definitely an effective advert, in as far as, now remember the Orangina brand. However, it doesn't necessarily make me want to drink one. It is bizarre, a bear and a deer dancing in a provocative and sexual way, a flamingo poll dancing. What is the message there?
The famous Cadbury Gorilla advert recently won a D & AD award, rewarding the effectiveness of that campaign and that message was just as ambiguous. I began questioning whether advertising the product is the main focus anymore, is it purely about the promotion of the brand instead?
Is this a new advertising strategy, purely to get people talking?
