When designing a poster why not use the environment it will be placed in? This is very clever, similar to the Amnesty International prison bar posters idea, I do not know which was designed first but its simplicity works. Using the texture of the tree for the elephant is a stroke of genius. Young children are the main demographic of visitors to the zoo, with this poster the children can feel the texture of the tree and intrigue them, "does an elephant feel the same as a tree?".
